The Bucharest line of Knilling violins is made in Romania, a country that is known for quality violins. These violins play well and have great tone and sound.
This particular violin has been used, but it is in great condition! There are some cosmetic blemishes on the front (please view last picture) which include some small indentations into the wood and some minor/small scratches throughout. Other than that, it is in great shape! Brand new, these sell for over $600 now!
For over four decades the Bucharest line of instruments has been the flagship of the Knilling line. Crafted from spruce and maple harvested in the Carpathian Mountains, Bucharest instruments are world-renowned for their tonal brilliance and structural stability. Bucharest instruments are further enhanced by the ability to add Perfection geared pegs and come with D’Addario strings. These features allow the developing player to shape their sounds and grow at their own pace without fighting the instrument. The complete Bucharest outfit includes a Union Station ABS shaped case and Glasser standard Fiberglass bow.

At PC Sound, we check out our instruments and provide a general setup prior to listing them online and shipping out to you to ensure the instrument is in the best possible condition. However, sometimes a minor adjustment may be needed once it arrives to you due to changes in temperature, humidity, shipping, or individual preferences. If temperatures are very cold or hot, please allow your instrument to sit in the box or case for at least 24 hours to allow time for it to acclimate. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
