This Ibanez AEW Series AEWC300NNB is an acoustic/electric guitar that is styled in a natural browned burst high gloss, with a soft, Florentine-style cutaway that allows you to easily reach up to the 17th fret.
The guitar boasts a spruce top, as well as flamed maple back and sides and a mahogany neck. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band. The neck features a 30" scale with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. The bridge is also fashioned from rosewood.
For electronics, the instrument offers a Fishman Sonicore pickup with an AEQ-SP2 preamp from Ibanez. In addition to its volume and tone controls, the preamp comes with a built-in tuner. Use the standard 1/4" output to plug into any acoustic amplifier, or utilize the balanced XLR output to plug straight into the house PA without need for an external DI.
You'll note flourishes throughout the instrument, such as black body binding and an abalone top-soundhole rosette. The instrument's chrome die-cast tuners have been outfitted with black knobs for a matching look.
