The Ibanez Performance Series PC12MHCEOPN a grand concert style acoustic/electric guitar with a single-cutaway design for easy access to the upper frets.

Its body features a sapele top, a sapele back, and sapele sides. Its neck, measuring 24.96" in scale is also fashioned out of sapele and sports a 20-fret nandu fingerboard with dot inlays, and includes a set of chrome open gear tuners with butterbean knobs for a vintage look and tuning stability.

For electronics, this guitar offers an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp with an undersaddle pickup. The preamp provides a volume knob, as well as controls for bass and treble for tonal sculpting. An onboard tuner lets you intonate without any external device. The system accepts a 9V battery and outputs to a standard 1/4" phone-type jack.

Directing your eyes to the body itself, you'll notice a tortoiseshell soundhole rosette, as well as a matching tortoiseshell pickguard, which helps to prevent you from scratching the guitar's surface while playing.

In addition, these features nicely complement the wood's open pore natural finish. Like the fingerboard, the bridge is also constructed from nandu, and utilizes Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, which are tapered to keep the string's ball end positioned correctly, and have a bulb-shaped end that makes them easier to remove whenever you need to change strings.
