The Ibanez AEG, a compact body electric acoustic guitar with a slim neck has been well accepted for its easy playability for more than two decades.

The AEG5012 sports the AEQ-TTS preamp w/Onboard tuner.  It is small and simple preamp has only two control knobs, volume and shape.

The at-a-glance control offers natural acoustic tone in the center position. It allows players to adjust the tone easily, enabling them to create sound from low, fat and powerful to bright and crispy by turning one knob. Its new easy-to-read onboard tuner with an LCD display is located on the preamp.

The AEG5012 comes with a simplified rosette, binding and ornamental design on the headstock. Other features include a spruce top and sapele back and sides, Ibanez T-bar II undersaddle pickup which equalizes the volume from each string and delivers a well-balanced signal, and specially shaped Ibanez Advantage Bridge pins for easy string installation.
