Retail & Sales Experience
Having experience in retail & sales is a big plus at PC Sound. A big part of the job is working with customers on the sales floor, showing products and providing excellent customer service.
PC Sound is a large business, with many parts to the company. Employees of the company need to be able and willing to do many different tasks. Sales, customer service, stocking, and general store upkeep are some of the main duties of store employees.
PC Sound employees should be motivated in learning about the products & services offered at PC Sound. Employees should show self-motivation throughout the day, giving their part in making the company a success.
Outgoing & Personable
All PC Sound employees must enjoy talking to people, and assisting them with their needs. Employees must also be able to sell products and services to customers.
Musical Experience is a Plus
While PC Sound offers many different services, store sales employees are working mostly on the sales floor with instruments. Having the ability to demonstrate one of these instruments to a customer is a plus, NOT a requirement. IF you do NOT know how to play an instrument, having a willingness and desire to learn is just as great a plus.
Experience with Audio / Video / Lighting
PC Sound sells more than just instruments. As a complete musical headquarters, PC Sound also sells speakers, amps, mixers, lighting gear, and even video gear (mostly for installs). Having knowledge and/or experience in this field is also a bonus. Employees are expected to learn about this area on the job, so previous knowledge will get you a head start.
