This listing is for a Gibson ES-150 guitar that comes with a soft, padded gigbag. Although it has some flaws, it plays well and sounds great! Be sure to check out the video we've included.
Dating this guitar has proven to be a challenge, so our best guess is that it is from the 1950's.
The pickup and volume/tone pots have been tested and are in great working order. The tone pots, knobs, pickup and pickguard were previously replaced and are not original.
It appears this guitar had sustained a crack along the shoulders that also damaged the base of the neck and was repaired. The block inside is solid without any evidence of damage (it could've been replaced, but it is hard to tell).
There is evidence of wear on this guitar that comes with age. Checking can be seen throughout the entire body of the guitar. There's a spot, about a centimeter wide, on the fretboard, just above the body, where it appears to have received some kind of repair. Scratches, scuffs, and dings are present. We attempted to take as many pictures as possible, but there is a photo limit on some websites. So if you're interested and would like to see more photos, please reach out to us. We tried to include the major ones on the sites that limit photos.
This guitar plays surprisingly well and would be a great addition to your collection. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to us prior to your purchase. Thank you for your time!
