Engineered in Germany, the Classis RM 30 from Beyerdynamic is a desktop microphone made for round table discussions, podiums, tele/video conferencing, and lecterns. Its vertical microphone array offers a horizontal corridor characteristic (horizontal cardioid, vertical lobe) which gives maximum freedom of movement to the speaker or conference participant, while providing a consistent intelligibility of speech. It's also possible for two people to share one microphone. Its vertical lobe polar pattern also optimizes the gain before feedback in ceiling installations.
